PLATING SERVICES
BOOSTERS | COIL BRACKETS | JACK SHAFTS | NUTS & BOLTS | HOOD HINGES | ANY METAL PART | ALL MAKES
We do plating for all makes and models, including Ford, Chrysler, American Motors Corporation and more. Though we focus on classic autos, we can electroplate virtually anything made out of metal (e.g., cast iron, steel) such as machine parts. If there's a part you don't see listed below, simply contact us and we'll discuss whether it's something we handle. See our Shipping page for important preparation tips.

PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT
You've restored your brake booster, reupholstered the interior, stripped the paint and polished the chrome. You've spent a lot of time and money on your baby, so now's not the time to skimp on the final touches.
Don't trust your parts to spray paint which chips easily and doesn't authentically replicate the original condition of your parts. Instead, protect them the right way with electoplating! Plating deposits a thin layer of material (e.g., zinc, cadmium) onto your car's metal components, providing a protective layer from corrosive conditions.
Visit our sister store, Detail Plating, for before and after samples of our work and tips on protecting your plated parts.

PREPARING YOUR PARTS
FOR GRAY & BLACK PHOSPHATE
Parts must be free of any grease and grime prior to shipment. In order to ensure the optimal results, we will remove any remaining paint and undercoating on a time and materials basis.
FOR CLEAR, GOLD OR BLACK
Parts must be free of any grease and grime prior to shipment. In order to ensure the optimal results, we will remove any remaining paint and undercoating on a time and materials basis.
Parts that have been sandblasted (and shouldn't have been) may be polished, also. There is an extra charge to polish parts as this is not a normal step for these types of plating. Phosphate plating will mask many imperfections in the metal, such as pits and, as such, should never require polishing.
Please remove any small springs that you can from your parts prior to you shipping as they will not be plated. If in doubt, call or email us first.
