Original Booster Plating
 
There is lots of debate on different GM discussion boards as to what the plating on 1964 and up GM Delco Moraine boosters should look like. See the photos on this page that may help answer that question. These are all photos of the inside of UNRESTORED ORIGINAL boosters.
Keep in mind, the plating on the pieces in these photos are over 40 years old. See how shiny the plating is, even after aging that many years! What would have looked like when it was fresh?? After restoring 10,000 boosters since 1983, I can say with all certainty that these booster pieces are a good representation of what the inside of the original booster from the 1964 to 1984 period looks like. I don't see a "dull finish" in the group!
